Energy: Approval for Gorgon gas project expected in days
The massive Gorgon liquid natural-gas project off the coast of
Australia has languished on the books for years, but now the work of
oil majors Chevron, Exxon and Shell may begin soon.
China imports of crude, iron ore fall from record
China's August imports of crude oil and iron ore fall from the
previous month's record high, while copper imports slump 20% as the
country slows its pace of commodities stockpiling.

Obama urges Congress to act on health care
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Obama summoned Congress to enact sweeping
health care legislation Wednesday night, declaring the "time for
bickering is over" and the moment has arrived to help millions who
have insurance and many more without it. In a televised speech to a
joint session of Congress, Obama spoke in favor of an option for the
federal government to sell insurance in competition with private
industry - probably the most contentious proposal currently being
debated. But he said he was open to alternatives that create choices
for consumers
Breaking News: Hijackers holding jet at Mexico City
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Hijackers are holding a flight from Cancun to
Mexico City. Mexico Communications Secretary Juan Molinar says the
plane is sitting on the runway at the Mexico City international
airport. Mexican network TV Azteca reported that the flight Wednesday
was carrying 104 passengers.
