BREAKING NEWS
Feds announce new restrictions on flights over East River.

The FAA is announcing that effective immediately, fixed wing aircraft
will not be allowed to fly in the "visual flight corridor" of
Manhattan's East River.

This is where the light plane Yankee Pitcher Corey Lidle and his flight
instructor were flying Wednesday when their plane crashed into a high
rise building, killing them both. The FAA says it's made the decision
for safety reasons. The new rules do not apply to seaplanes.
