U.S. Troop Deaths In Iraq Exceed 9/11 Toll
Six more American soldiers were killed in Iraq, pushing the military
death toll to at least 2,978 according to an Associated Press count —
five more than the number killed in the 9/11 attacks. Meanwhile, at
least 25 Iraqis died in Baghdad blasts.
