It's a historic day for Congress, with Democrats back in charge for the
first time in 12 years, promising fast action on the minimum wage, stem
cells, energy, student loans and recommendations by the Sept. 11th
terror attacks commission.

Conjoined Twins Successfully Separated
Doctors successfully separated 5-month-old conjoined twins from North
Dakota during a six-hour procedure Wednesday at the Mayo Clinic in
Minnesota. The girls, born joined at the chest, are doing well after the
operation.

Time Running Out For Stranded Livestock
Ranchers, pilots and snowmobilers are racing to provide hay and drinking
water to thousands of cattle left stranded by blizzards in the
southeastern Plains. It is estimated that up to 200,000 cattle are
scattered across the snowbound region.
