Iraqi Deaths Mount, Many Americans Unaware
As another brutal act of violence claimed more civilian lives in Iraq
— this time, 35 were killed by a bomb outside a Sunni mosque — a new
poll finds that many Americans woefully underestimate the number of
Iraqi civilians who have been killed.
