Democrats: U.S. Out Of Iraq By Fall 2008
Upping the ante in their fight with President Bush over the Iraq war,
House Democrats announced legislation calling for the withdrawal of U.S.
combat troops by fall 2008 – or even sooner if the Iraqi government
doesn't meet certain benchmarks.
