Putin: Put Missile Shield In Central Asia
Russian President Vladimir Putin told President Bush that he would drop
his objections to a U.S. missile shield for Europe if the system were
based in the central Asian nation of Azerbaijan. U.S. officials called
it an "interesting proposal."
