Breaking News: Dow dives more than 400 points

NEW YORK (AP) - Stocks tumbled for the second straight day as hopes
faded that lawmakers will soon put together an aid package for U.S.
automakers. The Dow Jones industrial average slid 444.99 points, or
5.56%, to close unofficially at 7,552.29. The Standard & Poor's 500
Index plunged 54.14 points, or 6.71%, to finish unofficially at 752.44
