U.S. STOCKS LOWER AS ALCOA DISAPPOINTS
U.S. stocks retreat after aluminum giant Alcoa Inc.'s earnings came in
short of expectations.

TECH STOCKS SEEK OUT SOME MOMENTUM
Technology stocks try to shake off their losses in early trading as
the sector show some signs of life in advance of the quarterly
earnings results due from Intel Corp. after the market close.
