U.S. stocks strong on chip sales, Aussie bank
U.S. STOCKS STRONG ON CHIP SALES, AUSSIE BANK
U.S. stocks rose Tuesday, boosted by bullish comments from Australia's
central bank and reports that global chip sales rose 4.5% in May from
the prior month.
U.S. SERVICE SECTOR WEAKENS A BIT IN JUNE
The service sector of the U.S. economy continued to grow in June, but
at a slower pace, according to a survey of companies released by the
Institute for Supply Management.
